Tracy's French Bread

2 tbs. Dry yeast
½ c warm water with sugar
1/3 c Oil
6 cups flour
2 c hot water
3 tbs. sugar
2 tsp Salt
1 egg white

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Set aside.

In bowl add: hot water, sugar, salt, oil and half of flour. Beat well. Add yeast and rest of flour. Let rest 10 min. Turn out and knead a little. Divide in half. Roll into 9x2 rectangle loaf. Placd on cookie sheet. Roll second half of dough into 9x2 rectangle and place on cookie sheet also. Beat egg white and baste top of both loeaves. Let rise until light and twice in size. Bake 400 degrees for 35 min.
