2 TBL yeast
1 cup warm water
**Place in large bowl, let sit till it bubbles**
1/3 Cup vegetable oil or olive oil
1/4 cup sugar
**Add to yeast mixture and let sit for 5 minutes**
1 egg
1 tsp salt
3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
Add the egg, salt and enough flour to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface;
knead until smooth and elastic,
about 3 to 5 minutes DO NOT LET DOUGH RISE.
Divide into 12 peices
Shape each peice into a ball.
Place 3 inches apar on greased baking sheets.
Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from pans to wire racks to cool
Makes 1 doz.
**Only make one batch at a time, so your dough will not rise to much**
(I put one batch in the oven and I have time to make another batch while the first one is baking)
I have quit buying the Store buns, these are so easy and taste so much better.
