Grandma Harvey's Peas and New Potatoes in Cream Sauce

1 cup New Potatoes (regular potatoes can be used)
1 cup Frozen Peas
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1/3 cup of unsweetened can milk

Cube potatoes into 1 inch cubes. Cook potatoes in sauce pan with a dash of salt until they are tender but not mushy. When the potatoes are cooked you might have to drain some water off so the water just barely covers the potatoes.

Add the peas to the potatoes and allow them to cook for approximately two minutes.

In a small cup using water make a thin paste out of the flour.

When the peas get cooked add the milk and bring back to a boil. Then take a couple tablespoons of the hot liquid from the pan and add it to your cup of flour paste. Stir the paste mixture slowly into your peas and potatoes. Let it cook until it thickens.

Salt and Pepper to taste.

The recipe makes approximately 3 servings
